While some of our bassets are living in foster homes throughout the state, the bulk of them are living at the BAGS sanctuary in NE Ohio. Along with non-stop companionship, both human and other dogs, they live in a crate-free environment. The dogs at BAGS also enjoy the luxury of using a doggie door to go outside into a fenced yard. This is necessary in order to take care of business, play or alert the troops that the evil rabbit is wandering the fence line. Since there is a mixture of both, older and younger dogs at BAGS, there is always non-stop entertainment and activity going on somewhere!
