Ariel

Ariel has found her forever home!!

Ariel is a 4 yr old sweet and lovable basset hound. She loves people and they all love her. She adores attention and prefers not to share it with others. Because of this, she needs to be an only dog. Ariel likes to cuddle, lay on your lap, and likes her squeaky toys. Her foster mom calls her "Goose-nose" because she likes to sneak behind you and put her cold nose on your bare legs. She demands her dental stick at 8 PM each evening and will let you know when it's time. Ariel thinks she's a bird dog and will gladly race through the yard trying to catch them. She has a cute crooked run that will leave you smiling from ear to ear. The vets all call her Sassy girl and says she owns the room when she walks in. She has the "Bassetitude" that the breed is known for! Ariel requires a family who is active and has plenty of time to spend with her. She is a high energy young basset so an above ground securely fenced yard is a must. Because she doesn't want to share attention with the other dogs in her home, she needs a home as an only dog. Please do not apply for adoption if you do not meet these requirements.

Ariel is house broken and knows how to use a dog door. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and on a flea/heart worm preventative.
