Lucy was listed "Free to a Good Home" on Craigslist because they had rescued her from a friend planning to take her to the shelter. They couldn't keep her because they already had dogs, but were trying to find her a good home. BAGS was notified of the post and were able to reach out to the family who was happy to work with rescue.
Upon arrival, Lucy was showing signs of a urinary tract infection and was peeing blood. Fortunately, we were able to get her into our vet and she had to undergo surgery to remove a large bladder stone. It's been a little over a week and Lucy has been feeling much better. She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on a flea/heartworm preventative. Lucy will be available for adoption following her final vet check the end of July.
Lucy is living in a foster home in Columbus Ohio.
