Tiffany was listed with her friend Fred as a "free to a good home" on Craigslist. BAGS was notified of the post and we were able to reach out to the family who worked with us to move them into our care. Fred & Tiffany are a 4 year old bonded pair. Tiffany seems more secure on her own, but Fred seeks out Tiffany and will cry when he can't find her. Fred has been neutered, is up-to-date on vaccines and is now microchipped. He does well with other dogs however he tends to have a problem if someone other than him or Tiffany are getting extra attention. Both dogs were living outside and were considered hunting dogs prior to coming to BAGS. They will happily chase a squirrel up a tree and bark to let you know they did a good deed. Fred and Tiffany will need to be adopted together, no exceptions. Due to the fact they were trained as hunting dogs and like to chase squirrels, they would not do well with cats. They are house broken and know how to use a dog door. They require a secure fenced yard and someone who has time to spend with them. They spent the first 4 years of their lives living outside in a pen with little to no attention so they are definitely trying to make up for lost time and adore attention. Upon arrival, Tiffany tested positive for heart worms and completed her treatment in 2016. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Tiffany is best described as a high energy wild woman. She is cute, but mischievous and will keep you laughing with her antics.
