Meet Daisy! At 13 years old, Daisy's family sold their home and sadly she wasn't able to join them in their move. Desperate for an alternative to the shelter, they contacted BAGS and explained she may be a hospice case. You would never know by meeting this gal that she is anything but a sassy youngster.
Daisy has been in a foster home with BAGS for a couple of weeks now. Her first vet visit revealed a high white blood cell count believed to be caused by a urinary tract infection. Other than the typical senior issues, she appears to be in pretty good shape. Daisy does have a few mammary masses that will need to be biopsied, some teeth needing removed and will also need to be spayed. Daisy is scheduled for surgery Dec 9th. Once her masses are biopsied we will have a better idea whether she will be available for adoption. In the meantime, this little firecracker is living life as a princess with her foster mom Melissa Hopper and her new doggie friends.
